Thank You For Referral Letter, Sample & Format

Introduction

A Thank You for Referral Letter is written to thank a person who has referred a student,  customer or client to another person. Sending such type of a letter to the person who has referred someone provides an excellent opportunity to thank him or her. It is crucial to thank the person for letting them know the result of the consideration. Also, it encourages that person to suggest further such referrals in future.

The writer should write the letter in a very polite tone and, although this is a letter to thank the receiver, it should not thank the reader so much that it does not seem professional, the formal boundaries have to be maintained. The writer should acknowledge the receiver for their recommendation. The sender may also choose to include certain outstanding qualities of the person referred which would be hugely profitable to the business organization or academic institution.
