Subject: Apology letter

Dear Ms Colt,

I am writing to apologise for causing you great inconveniences with the recent accident where my car knocked into your recently new car. With your kids on board, I am sure you must have been taken aback. I was sending my car to the workshop for some repairs when the accident happened. I know giving excuses is not acceptable at all.

I am grateful to God that you and your kids were unhurt; otherwise, I would feel even more terrible over the incident. I cannot express how ashamed I am about what happened. I promise to be careful in the future.

As mentioned, I would bear the cost of your car repairs if you can put it at my mechanic’s workshop in the next few days. I will have my mechanic waiting for you and to put your car on top priority as I understand that you need your car for transporting your schooling children.

Again, I am so sorry to have caused you much inconvenience.

Thank you for your patience.

Yours Truly,

Henry
