Head H.R department
First of all, I would like to thank you for offering me the position of head of sales department in your company. It gives me immense pleasure to receive the joining letter from your reputed company. Before joining there is a request that I would like to make.
I have been offered a salary package of ten lacs per annum which I feel is a bit short from my expectations. I am switching from my current job in Gurgaon, and there I was offered twelve lacs per annum. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I have to leave the job as the timings, and work load is depriving me of my personal space and time.
Now if I accept your offer, I will have to commute daily from Gurgaon to Delhi. A certain amount of money would go into traveling. Also considering my past work experiences and my skills, I feel I deserve a better package. I have been the head of sales department for a very a long time now and have been awarded for my performance quite a lot of occasions in the past. If I join your company, I am positive to increase your sales with my skills and dedication. I have also completed a few diplomas apart from my MBA, as you must have seen in my resume.
I would be highly obliged if you consider my request. Hoping to hear from you soon.
