Government job employees also receive pension after their retirement in India. A retirement party letter has to be sent to all near and dear ones.
The letter should be short and sweet and should make the party sound fun. Also, remember to mention the achievements of the retiring person in this letter in a short paragraph to acknowledge him. Remember to mention the time, date and venue of the party and always send the letter a few days in advance so that people can plan their schedule.

Dear Ryan & Mandy,
Sub: Retirement party for James Davidson.
I am writing this letter to let you know that my father, James Davidson is getting retired next month and so we have decided on throwing him a retirement party on 20th September 2017 at 5;30 pm at Maymorn holiday home resort, Ooty. He has been a government employee for 35 years, and now finally he has the time he needs to rest and live life stress-free. It has been a wonderful experience for him and we have also learnt a lot from it. You being our cousins definitely know his life experiences and hardships.
It will be great if you could join us at his retirement party. Father has always treated both of you as his children only so he will be glad to see you both there. I hope you will be able to take time out for him on this special occasion. I hope to see you two there.
Patrick James Davidson.
