So, in order to write an effective letter of resignation, all you need is a declaration of your decision to leave your position, whatever it may be. The exact date you will be resigning, and the reason of why you are resigning must be strictly mentioned. Whether it be any job, these are some of the basics that must be included in a letter of resignation.
It is the world known fact that a job(any job for that matter), represents a significant milestone in your career, so you’d like to take this opportunity to say a lot about the experiences and life lessons you have learned. Please accept this letter as my official resignation from my position as the Software Engineer at Mitel Corp, Chennai. My final day of employment will be DD/MM/YYYY. After must confusions and plannings, I have made the decision to focus my attention on my family’s needs at home now since the situations at my home demand my presence.
It is no doubt to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my work hours here, in this company and I am very much honored to have had the chance to touch the lives of some students who came for the training and internship programs, which remains in my mind, fresh as it was. While teaching them technical lessons, I was able to have knowledge on other life lessons that the training students taught me. Thank you so very much for the opportunity that you have provided. I truly have many fond memories with the company and everyone here which I would cherish forever in my life. I will miss all the fun that I had during my training with the notorious team. I can go on writing about the experiences which this company has provided me, but since it concerns only me and no one else, I am not going further into it and making you bored.
I assure you that I will work hard in my final days of employment to complete all of the required paperwork and duties that are assigned to me so that a new software engineer can join in and take control without any works that are left behind by me. Please tell me in case you require any additional details and do not hesitate to reach out with your questions by phone at ********** or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused due to my decision of leaving the company.
