Request to Waive Bank Fee letter, Sample & Format
Customers of a bank can often write to the banking institution of which they are a part of to waive the bank fee. This bank fee can be imposed on the customer for a multitude of reasons. It is up to the client to go through their records and see for what exact reason the bank has charged them a fee for.
In the letter, the reason for the charges should be written. This needs to be countered by asking the bank to waive the fee for a legitimate reason which the customer needs to provide to the bank. These vital points must be mentioned in your request letter. It is imperative to write this letter shortly within a few days since the fee has been implemented. The letter must also include your bank details such as your bank account number along with your relationship ID code as given by the bank. Check out the sample, email format and template for more.

Respected Ma’am/ Sir,
I, Renu Sharma have been a loyal customer to your bank for the past five years. However, in the past three months, I have not been able to pay my credit card bill due to my recent dismissal from my job.
I had written to the bank and informed them in the month of May itself to give me a three-month notice as I will not be able to pay my bills due to professional reasons. I had written a formal letter to the bank which was acknowledged by Mr. Joshi. He had a word with me and considered my case. He gave me this relief in writing, a copy of which has been attached to this letter.
A total of INR 20,000 has been imposed as a late fee. I request the concerned people to look into my case and update me on the proceeding steps to be taken. I have never in my five years with your bank have missed out on a payment. This is a one-time special case for which I sought relief.
My account number is 28463TGHD833 and is under the name of Ms. Renu Sharma. My unique customer ID code is 373beb7362. I kindly request you to look into the matter as soon as possible.
I look forward to hearing from you.
