Request Letter For Volunteers
Volunteers are primarily people who contribute to various social projects, non-profit organizations, etc. by sparing their time, effort and money for a better cause. Volunteers are the unpaid help and are pivotal to the success and implementation of charitable initiatives, most of which are private, independent entities who don’t receive any financial aid from governmental agencies. Such actions are pivotal in reaching out to the poorer, disenfranchised sections of society and providing them with some essential amenities to aid in their upliftment.
A Request Letter for Volunteers is sent out by a member of an NGO or a charitable organization which requests a company or society for volunteers to participate in their projects. Such a letter must appeal to their humanity and ask them to be empathetic to the plight of others. The contents of the letter must also contain all the relevant details about the event such as location, date and time, etc. which would help any potential volunteers to plan their schedule ahead of time.
The following is a sample of a Request Letter for Volunteers.

Subject: Request for Volunteers
Dear Ms. Cullings,
I would like to extend my most humble and sincere request towards your company to provide some volunteers for our next venture which aims to provide medical aid to outlying communities in the city.
Our newest mission, which shall be conducted in conjunction with Doctors Without Borders aims to provide basic health care services to communities who don’t receive any health benefits from private and governmental agencies. Given the size of these communities, we are also requesting the aid and help of the other main medical organizations to spare volunteers for this righteous cause. With our current numbers, the doctor to patients ratio is quite steep, and we won’t be able to carry out check-ups for all of the people inside the time that has been allotted to us by the local municipality. Hence, we would very much appreciate it if you could spare some of your doctors to aid us in our mission. If possible, I request you to recommend other medical institutions with which you have contracts with to provide us with volunteer doctors and nurses. The drive shall begin on the 21st of May until the 28th, starting at 9 AM in the morning.
I hope that you lend us your support and help make a positive impact on the lives of the lesser sections of society.
