Dear David

RE: Reconsider your Resignation

I am writing to request that you reconsider your intention to resign as Store Assistant at Grover Precision Industry.

You have shown yourself to be an exemplary employee for the past 2 years and have had a lot of opportunities to exhibit your skills and knowledge on the company’s products and policies. I have received a lot of favorable comments on your helpful services from your colleagues as well as from our customers.

As such, I would like to consider you for a possible promotion to Store Manager at the next appraisal. I hope that you will reconsider leaving Grover Precision as there are more opportunities for you to grow yourself and your career with Grover’s.

Please feel free to come in for a discussion with me on how to plan your career path with Grover Precision.

Yours sincerely,

Christopher Joey
