Property Transfer Letter, Sample & Format
Letters of transfer serve the purpose of transferring something or someone from one place to another. A Property Transfer Letter specifies the transfer of a property. It is written by the owner of the property to the person who will be purchasing that property. Properties are of two types, movable and immovable. Movable property, such as jewelry, books, vehicles and utensils, can be easily transported from one place to another. Immovable property, such as land or house, cannot be transported from one place to another.
A Property Transfer Letter is formal in nature and, hence, should be kept short, precise and clear. The writer should include in the letter all the important details about the property, such as registration of the property, power of attorney, the size of the property, loans applicable on the property and whether there is a possessive owner of the property. The writer should also include the date on which the property will be transferred to the purchaser of that property. The tone of the letter should be kept polite and the formal boundaries must be maintained.
