Professional Donation Letter
A professional Donation Letter is written by an individual or a group of people to a company or organization asking for a donation. These days most of the companies engage in philanthropic activities to maintain a favorable position for themselves in the market. Also, the companies receive tax rebates from the government on these activities. This letter should include details of your organization and the work that you have done previously which have brought about a difference and your achievements etc.The letter should be presented in such a way that it creates a positive impression in the mind of the reader.
As it is a formal letter, keep the tone formal. Be polite in your approach as it is a request. Don’t make the letter too emotional or long and make sure there are no grammatical or spelling errors. Provide only facts in your letter. At the end of the letter, thank the recipient for his or time and patience.

Subject: Letter asking for a donation.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
We on behalf of share a book India write this letter to you to bring to your notice the work done by our organization. Share a book aims to set up libraries in low-income schools of Kota both public and private. Our goal is to open the doors of imagination for the kids and provide them with an environment through books which they will not get otherwise. There is the world beyond textbooks, and we strive to introduce them to it.
As it is with all the causes, we face difficulties in our journey. To arrange for the reading sessions that we keep conducting in different areas and schools, to help in the construction of a library, all this requires funds and books. As we have just started on this journey and we are a really small group, we request you to provide us with some assistance. It can be anything from cash to books etc. as every donation whether big or small counts. Till now we have successfully managed to open libraries in two Schwann were featured in The Time’s newspaper for achievement.
We look forward to your assistance and cooperation. Thank you for your time and patience.
