Letter to Inform About Changes In Policy

A letter to inform about changes in policy is written by a company or an organization to let their employees know about the changes they are going to make. In the letter, you have to mention in detail the changes that are going to get introduced. You also need to give in writing the date and time from which the changes will get implemented. You can also let the employees know if there will be any penalty or punishment that will be imposed.

Make certain that the letter includes all the details clearly so that the readers know exactly what the changes are. The letter should be written in such a way that it does not confuse the reader. Since this is a formal letter, make sure you maintain the formal tone of the letter. The sample letter mentioned below will help you write an effective letter about the changes in the policy.

Dear Miss Kavya

I am writing this letter on behalf of the entire managing team of lilac enterprises and would suggest that you make it public as soon as possible.  The company has been observing that the employees have been using the official number and the internet for their personal use. A team has been dedicated to check and curb this practice now. From 1st January every employee will be tracked, and their usage noted, any discrepancy if found will lead to a fine of Rs 500 every time. Also, employees who come late from 1st January will have four percent of their salary deducted instead of the usual two percent.

Some of you may find these announcements a bit too harsh, but please remember it is only for the betterment of the company. We request all of you to please support us in this announcement.  In case of any query or doubt, please feel free to contact our representatives in the H.R department.

Your patience and time are much appreciated.  We sincerely hope that you will be with us on this journey and will do your best to take the company to greater heights.

Thank you

Yours sincerely

Shalini Sharma
