Letter of Recommendation Residency
A letter of recommendation residency is written by a previous landlord to a potential new landlord on behalf of his/ her potential previous tenant. This type of letter is usually a requirement by a serious landlord who wants to ensure good tenants for his homes for rent. The sender of this letter is generally a previous landlord who writes to recommend the tenant to a new place of stay. This is a formal letter where the former landlord vouches for the credibility and good behavior of the tenant and assures the new landlord of the tenant.
Hiring a tenant is quite a task, and one has to sure of the person hiring. So many tenants provide this recommendation letter to ease the apprehensions of their potential new landlord. Be polite and stick to the point. Do not make false claims which could hurt you in the long run. Write this letter if you are sure about the tenant.

Subject: Residency Recommendation
To Whomsoever It May Concern,
This is a recommendation letter for residency on behalf of Mr. Stanley Lucas.
Mr. Stanley Lucas was a former tenant in one of my apartments in Golden Apartments at the above address. He took up residency at Golden Apartment from December 2003 to January 2011. He lived with his family which comprises of a wife and two school going kids. His wife is a house maker.
Mr. Lucas is a very pleasant gentleman who pays his rental six months in advance, as he travels quite a fair bit. He is trustworthy and responsible, keeping his rented studio in good order with a self-hired cleaner. Other residents at the apartment block have no issue with Mr. Stanley Lucas. In fact, they interact well at a monthly rooftop get-together. He is kind and orderly and an exemplary citizen who minds his own business.
His family also maintains a quiet lifestyle in his absence. During their seven years long stay in my apartment never did I receive a single complaint against him for any misbehavior. I have no dissatisfying issue with Mr. Stanley Lucas and his family as a tenant. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Over these years he has become a friend to me as well, and I hope he develops the same relationship with you. You will be at ease to rent your apartment to him.
