Letter of Intent for School
A letter of intent for school could be a letter written by a student or a parent who informs the school of a particular intention, such as a leave or assistance in the given school project. The letter of intent is to make known the sender’s request to the school. It is more often necessary to make one’s request known in an organization especially when we have seniors above us. In school, there are rules and various regulations to be followed while taking any leave or giving any assistance, so it is necessary to inform the management about the same.
A letter of intent for school mentions the intent be it for leave or any other thing that requires a prior intimation to the management. It must be formal letter indicating the needful. Once through the letter, check it for grammatical errors. This letter also ensures that the person has a sense of responsibility to inform things before hand.
The following is the sample of letter of intent for school.

Subject: Letter of Intent
I am the parent of Gina Gabriele in Fifth Grade at your esteemed High School. I am writing this letter to inform you of my intention to take Gina off school from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY for a family wedding at Long Island. The wedding has already been delayed as everyone’s presence is needed. Also, it has been a long time since Gina last visited her extended family, and everyone has been eagerly waiting to meet her for she is the apple of everyone’s eye.
If there is no important event during those dates, an affirmative approval from you for Gina to be released during those dates would be appreciated. I hope that you can inform this sooner as we will need to book the tickets accordingly.
Please, advice on the schoolwork that will be missed by Gina during those days of absence. It would be appreciated if Gina’s teachers will be informed of her coming absence and to assist her in every way on the work that will be missed.
She is a good student and has never missed her school otherwise, so I hope you let her off this time.
Marie R. Gabriele
