Letter Of Appreciation To Employer, Sample & Format
A letter of appreciation to the employer is a letter of gratitude from the employee for being granted the opportunity by the employer. It is the employee saying thank you to the organization, for hiring him and giving the employee an experience which has helped in major personal growth as well as possible financial growth. It is usually written on the occasion of the employee leaving the company, either in better pursuits or for different circumstances but as it is a note of gratitude, it can be expressed any time.
A letter of Appreciation to the Employer must be warm and friendly in tone. It must resolve any past differences that have arisen and give heed to the benefits the employee has accrued from the Employer. It can mention specific time periods during the Employee’s time in the organisation and point to exactly how he has gained. Ultimately, it must give thanks to the Employer for choosing him and seeing potential in him and wish him the very best.

Subject: letter of Appreciation
Today is my last day at work, I am leaving here to chase new goals and new dreams. I say new dreams because this last year working with and for The Daring Company, has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have worked for organizations before and good men before, however, this is the first time I am writing to anyone.
I am writing this to say goodbye but more pertinently to say Thank you! When I came for the interview, I had zero faith that I would even get selected but you, however, saw potential in me. Saw my abilities when I didn’t see them myself and for that, I would be forever grateful.
I have grown more in the last year than I have throughout my entire life. I’ve learnt a new process, acquired a new set of skills, found new friends, collaborated with talented colleagues and worked on something that has driven me to the very edge of my capacities and in turn, has driven me to greater capabilities. Working on the Tunnel in Pasadena, where I got the chance to work with you personally and how we overcame the challenges and navigated the intricacies of the Hyperloop activation model in the cold biting December is something I will always keep with me.
So, thank you, Mr. Elon, thank you for the experience, thank you for the motivation, thank you for the opportunity and thank you for being you. I will always be a fan.
