Lease Termination Letter, Sample & Format

A Lease Termination letter is a notification of termination of a rented property by the leaser or lessee. The leaser is the property owner while the lessee is the tenant. The letter may or may not provide reason(s) for the termination of the lease. A lease agreement is usually renewable at its expiry.

RE: Lease Termination of Property 117 White Lane, Milwaukee

Hereby with this letter is the termination notice of the lease agreement on the above mentioned property. You are now served 2 months’ notice in accordance to the lease agreement termination condition, found in section 2b.

You are required to vacate the premise by November 17, 2010 midnight and to hand over the keys to Fairview Property the next day or earlier. According to the lease agreement, you are required to ensure that all lightings and fixtures that were not there originally will be removed before you vacate the premise.

Any inconvenience with this notice is regretted. Thank you for your kind cooperation in this matter. We wish you the best in your future undertakings.
