Job Offer Decline letter, Sample & Format
A job applicant writes a Job offer decline letter to a company which has extended a job offer to the applicant. The job applicant responses with a decline to the job offered, stating his reason for the decline of the offer as well as apologizes. The letter should be courteously written so that the company does not blacklist the job applicant for any future vacancies. Jobs are offered by companies to those candidates who are qualified for their vacant positions. However, the applicant may or may not be interested in it. But it is polite and a good gesture to inform the company of the same.
A job offer decline letter is a formal letter and has to be written with extreme professionalism. It must contain a genuine reason behind the decline so that the company doesn’t feel offended. Once through the letter, you should check for its grammatical correctness.

Subject: Job Offer Decline
Thank you so much for your kind job offer to the position of Assistant Administrator for your esteemed organization. I have just received your letter dated DD/MM/YYYY. I cannot express the joy I felt in knowing that I have been considered worthy enough to work for your enterprise. However, I cannot accept the offer at the moment.
I am sorry to inform you that I have to decline your job offer as I have already committed work at another organization. The postal system has delayed your job offer letter to me, and hence I have taken up another job offer. I have signed a legal contract with them, and it can’t be revoked before I complete one year at the organization.
Please accept my deepest and sincere apologies. I do feel very upset about missing this golden opportunity to work in Solitaire Trading Corporation. It has been my dream company ever since I started working. However, I can’t do anything now. I hope that I may be considered favorably again should there be another job opportunity for me at Solitaire Trading when I shall be available to apply there again.
Once again, thank you for considering me worthy enough for the job understanding on my decline of the offer.
