Introductory Sales Letter

Introductory Sales Letter

An Introductory Sales letter is written by a company to introduce some new products or service to another business or individual, perhaps a potential client of the company. The objective of an introductory sales letter is to create an awareness of the company’s new products or service. There may be some discounts or special offers stated in the letter to entice the recipient. The letter should be made attractive to the reader so that he or she will be interested in the product or service.  Providing special discounts or coupons to the company or individual are mere incentives to lure them into the service/product.

The letter should be formal but also captivating. Mention all the features and qualities of the service or product. Mention prices and models and provide a proper description of the item. This way the viewer knows exactly what he or she is getting into and there is no room for doubts or error on either end. You may use various techniques to captivate the audience, but to do that, you must know your audience. Once you know your target, start writing that Introductory Sales letter accordingly.
