Introduction letter

Introduction:

Even in this time, where everything is digitalized, letter in the corporate industry and business world still plays an import role. Things such as introduction to staff, job offer, leave applications, resignations, etc. are all put forward using letters. In such sectors, a letter of introduction can be a useful way to network and gain job advice or even a possible job opportunity.

An Introduction Letter is a letter written by an authority to introduce a new employee, who is of a high standing in the management to the rest of the company staff. It can be an outsider who is newly hired into the enterprise to take a significant position in the business. The letter is usually short and to the point. A Letter of Introduction from the management lends weight to the new employee’s status and authority as he or she begins work at the organization.

Subject: Introduction of our new employee, Mr. Nolan Bedford.

Dear Staff,
It brings me immense pleasure to introduce Mr.Nolan Bedford who is starting at National Precision Industry, as a product specialist on DD/MM/YYYY. Nolan will work in the marketing department where he will report to John Smith. His responsibilities will include coordinating all marketing services for all of our new products.

He’ll work with the product development team on all aspects of developing the product through launching the product in the international markets. We’ve hired Nolan to carry out our vision of how the product development needs to involve making a case and market for the product before we make a single widget. This will give us the opportunity to see what potential customers want and need before we build products.

Nolan’s degree is from LaSalle University where he majored in marketing and minored in business. Nolan has worked in this sector of bringing products to market for three different esteemed employers during his career so far. He is enthusiastic, passionate and excited about our new approach that will involve him very early in the product development cycle, an approach which he believes will revolutionize our sales.

Join me in welcoming Nolan. He will be working with our other product specialist, Mary Robertson, who will serve as his official mentor. You will find Nolan in the office right next to Mary’s in the marketing wing. I’ve attached Nolan’s picture so that you will be able to recognize and greet him. You can reach Nolan on extension 541, and he spends a lot of time in  AIM as nolanbedford141. He is also an enthusiastic player of all sports so let him know who needs a team member.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
Joshua Martin,
Managing Director,
National Precision Industry.
