Graduation Thank You Letter

Introduction :

College time is one of the best times of a student’s life. In school, a person is a beginner, and there are multiple sets of rules to follow. However, in college, the boundaries are less, freedom and chance to explore are more. That is what makes it a great experience. So, when the term is over and the time comes for final graduation, it is an emotional moment for everyone. It is the time to bid farewell to the place where a person learned his/her worth in the world.

A graduation thank you letter is more of an informal letter as it contains deep rooted emotions of a person on bidding farewell to a place he/she has great time at. It is addressed to all those people who made the life of the person writing this letter possible at the university to thank them for being there throughout his journey.

Subject – Graduation Thank you letter.

Dear Mr. Gurudatta,

Warmest greetings from my side. I am writing this letter to you, to express my sincerest thanks for being the best guide for the last three years in an unknown city.

Ever since you started teaching us, I had taken a liking to you for you taught beyond what was written in our syllabus. You made the classes more fun by including practical life examples which added a realistic touch. Not only that, you made it a point to interact with everyone even on a personal level, many even shared their personal problems with you. Everyone needs a teacher like you to help them guide during darkest hours of life. I am thankful for all the support you have bestowed upon me and the guidance provided by you shall help me in shaping up my future.

I find it hardest to say good bye to you for I don’t know when I’ll visit this campus, this place and you again. However, I do wish to remain in touch with you. If life won’t keep me too busy, I shall try to visit you once in a while.

Once again, thank you for everything and also for making it to my graduation day.

Yours sincerely,

Abinash Biswal,
