A Goodbye letter to a friend is a letter written to bid goodbye to one particular friend. It could be one leaving the company or moving away from a neighborhood. A goodbye letter is written lightly but may contain some emotions as a friendship has been built and there may not be opportunities to meet up in the future.

Re: Goodbye

Please allow me to bid you goodbye as I shall be moving away to Los Angeles at the end of the month due to a work transfer.

I am writing to let you know how much I will miss you, for I have grown fond of you. I am so glad to have found a real friend in you; I shall miss our morning walks before we go off for work. Those walks really refresh my day.

You were one of the first friends I made when I first moved to this neighborhood. Thank you for being my friend. I shall miss meeting up with you for some activities on the weekends. Take good care of yourself and give me a call whenever you are free.

I hope to return to visit you all sometimes and wish you God’s blessings and success in all you do.

With my best regards,

Natasha
