Free Resignation Letter


A Resignation Letter is written by an employee of a company, institution or organization who wishes to end his or her employment with that company, agency or organization. A resignation letter is a formal letter, and it must include details about the resignation. The resignation letter is usually addressed to the Human Resources Department or other superior officers in the organization. The reason for resignation must be mentioned in the letter. The date of actual termination must also be included after deliberation.

The letter is an important part of the staffing cycle, as it ends the staffing cycle. The letter must mention clear reasons for the applicant’s decision to resign from the organization. Dear Madam,

I write this letter to inform you of my decision to resign from the position of Sales Executive at Trisha Hotels in the East Park City of Utopia. My decision to resign from the organization is due to my acceptance from the Cornell Business School to pursue my Masters in Business Administration. I have been accepted by the University, and I will be traveling to Ithaca, New York, United States, on August 22, 1776. The MBA program is a two academic year program, and I wish to utilize this education for the betterment of my professional opportunities.

I have completed all the assignments that were due from my side during the month of June 1776, and I have submitted the report to the Senior Manager. I would like to request a meeting with you before the termination of my employment. The date of my resignation will be effective from 28 July 1776. I wish to participate in an exit interview so that I can discuss my experiences in working with your wonderful organization.
