Subject: Employment Resignation

Dear Sir,

Please accept my letter of job resignation from my position of Sales Executive at Hamilton Metal Industry, as of February 25, 2011, with the required two weeks’ notice.

I regret to inform you that I am unable to adjust to the sales position in this esteemed company. I find it difficult to understand some of the metal products that are produced by Hamilton Metal Industry. Please accept my apologies. Also, I would be moving to India next month due to my impending marriage. Hence, I would not be able to continue with Hamilton. Mr. Aj Lee would be my replacement for the job. I already have completed the knowledge transition to Mr. Aj Lee.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try out the sales position during the last two months. I appreciate your kindness to allow me to try my hand in sales.

Also, I thank all my colleagues who have helped me with the nitty-gritty of the industry. I have had a fruitful span of time even though for a short duration. I have learned quite a few things about the industry and practically handled tough situations. This has made me a better person and capable enough to take on new challenges.

I wish you and Hamilton Metal Industry all the best in your future undertakings.

Yours sincerely,

Stacey Murphy
