Employment Follow Up Letter
An employment follow-up letter is written after a candidate has applied for a job and has given the interview. Writing such a letter creates a positive impression in the mind of the recipient regarding your seriousness about the job even when you have not received a reply from the company yet. It will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd. You should thank the recipient of the follow-up letter to create a good impression.
As it is a formal letter, keep the tone of the letter formal and concise. Make sure that the letter is not too long and that there are no grammatical or spelling errors in the letter. You can ask about your application in a polite and humble way as well as mention about your skills again, thanking the recipient for their time and cooperation.
First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time out for conducting my interview for the post of sales executive last Saturday. I am very enthusiastic about joining your company as I had mentioned in the interview also. Yours is a very reputed company and getting selected for the post here would give my career the necessary boost. Also, the location is Gurgaon, and that is also a favorable point for me as my last job was in Delhi, and I had to leave it because of the daily traveling that it involved.
All my previous work experiences and skills I had included in my resume. I was awarded the best performing employee for two years in a row. If given a chance to join your Company is sure I can bring a lot of sales with my hard work and determination. I will give time and complete my work sincerely. I will also not shy away from doing overtime as and when required.
I am enclosing my email id and phone number in case you want to ask me anything more. Also, let me know if you want me to send you more documents. I am waiting to hear from you soon.
Thank you for your time and patience.
