Easter Fundraising Letter
Easter is the most important as well as the oldest Christian festival celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Christ. An Easter Fundraising Letter is written during the period of Easter to business organizations, charitable foundations or even neighbors, relatives and friends. The people to whom the letter is written depends upon the nature of the Easter fundraising activity. The Easter fundraising activities could include a bake sale, a flower sale or even a theme based play.
The letter should contain three paragraphs. The introductory paragraph should be formed depending upon the nature of the letter. If the letter is written for formal purposes, then the letter should be opened with a brief introduction to the organization. If the letter is informal in nature, the opening paragraph should contain warm Easter greetings. The main paragraph of the letter should include the details and purpose of the Easter fundraising event. The letter should be concluded by thanking the reader for his or her time.
The following is a sample of an Easter Fundraising Letter.

Subject: Easter Fundraising
Dear Mr. Ebenezer Abranches,
Our organization, Senior Citizens India, is moving ahead passionately as well as successfully with its agenda to help the elderly live their surpassing stage of life smoothly and comfortably. All that the elder people require is love, affection and time. Therefore, Senior Citizens India, in collaboration with Child Health Society, is pleased to announce its upcoming event, Easter Bake Sale YYYY.
The event shall be held in the Vigyan center Auditorium on DD/MM/YYYY, at 1.20 p.m. The management has decided to make this Easter a memorable one. Hence, one elder person shall be paired up with one child and be given a stall to make and sell its sumptuous doughnuts, muffins, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other such tempting delicacies. The money collected by all of the participants shall be put to charitable uses by the participants themselves. We feel contented to be blessed with clients such as you and are grateful to you for the same. You have always encouraged us to make the world a better place for the elderly.
We cannot afford to let our dear ones alone on this Easter, not even you. Thus, we request you to, once again, enlighten the event with your presence and acknowledge the initiatives taken up by us.
Thanking you for your time.
