Subject – Complaint about Harassment

Respected Sir,

It is with great sadness that I am writing this letter to you. I was subjected to harassment at my workplace by my Boss Mr. ABC on the DD/MM/YYYY.

I was working late that night as I had an important assignment to complete. Very few people were staying back along with me. However, they were working on another floor. So, it was only me and my boss on the 2nd floor of the office. After completing my work, I went into his cabin to submit the report when I smelled alcohol. I kept the file on his desk, dreading even talking to him, because of the way he was looking at me. He immediately came up to me and tried to force himself on me. Since he was drunk, I was able to push him off me, but it was a very traumatic experience for me. I had never expected that this could happen.

I complained regarding this to the women harassment cell of my office, and no action was taken against him. They said that he was drunk that’s why he committed this mistake.  However, after talking to few of my female colleagues, I found out that he has done and gone away with it quite many times. I have filed a FIR at the Moti Nagar police station I hope you would look seriously into this matter and would urge the police officers to take action at the earliest.

Thanking You

Yours sincerely,
