Every day, one needs to meet new people and share what they have to communicate. An appointment request letter is written to request an appointment from an individual or a person of some company by someone from another company. Dear Mr. Danley,
I am writing you this letter, to request a to change the date for my appointment from January 28, 2011, at 10 am on February 1, 2011, at 10 am. I know that you are really busy and have to deal with numerous clients in a day, and a change in appointment would cause inconvenience for you. I shall be out of town for business work on January 28, otherwise, I wouldn’t have ever changed the meeting date.
I could have asked for a date before 1st February but there is usually a pile of work waiting for me after my return, which has to be completed in a short span of time and for that, I would need a couple of days. I want to be free completely and be at peace before I can take time off, for an appointment with you.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change of appointment request, but it is difficult to change my work schedule. I understand and respect your schedule but I felt, that informing you before hand was a better idea than wasting your entire day. I hope you could get more appointments fixed for the day. Please confirm this change of appointment request as soon as possible. I am open to any other appointment time suggested by you.
